  • Although it is admirable to help cancer patient’s avoid more cancer or assist people to not acquire cancer – the wording in the promotion of this recipe feeds into the myth that ‘food can cause cancer or the right food eaten can halt cancer or fight cancer’. Unless medically scientific evidence to prove such comes with the recipe – it is not helpful for cancer patients or their loves ones to be told that if they eat this food, it will fight their cancer. A cancer website such as this – must understand these claims and make sure it does not feed into the many false information’s flying around society about the cause’s of cancer.

There are only a very small amount of cancers caused by food and diet, that can be scientifically proven. However, most of the world believes a person acquires cancer via their lifestyle choices only and particularly the food they eat. A constant battle for current cancer patients is to field off unhelpful comments about their choice of food/drink – as one of the causes or the soul cause of their cancer.

This is a very painful and hurtful process for the cancer patient, as they get this from all sides and in most cases – it is totally NOT true at all. Many, many cancers are caused via genetics and viruses and have NOTHING to do with food. Please consider before you post another recipe claiming to fight cancer, posting a ‘disclaimer’ or more information for patients about the various true causes of cancer.
